Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the https://nacla.com.au website operated by the National Australian Cleaners Association (“NACLA”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, registered members, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Nature of the Service NACLA operates as an industry association and online registry. We provide a platform that lists independent cleaning businesses and provides an informational forum for the public.

NACLA is not a cleaning service provider, employer, or contracting agency. We do not employ the cleaners listed on our registry, nor do we manage, schedule, or oversee their daily operations.

2. No Endorsement or Guarantee While NACLA requires registered members to agree to industry standards, inclusion in the NACLA registry does not constitute a legal endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by those independent businesses.

Any engagement, booking, or contract made between a consumer and a cleaning business found via the NACLA registry is strictly between those two parties.

3. Limitation of Liability In no event shall NACLA, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

  • Property damage, theft, or personal injury occurring during a cleaning service booked with a registry member.

  • Disputes regarding pricing, scheduling, or service quality between consumers and cleaning providers.

  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or inability to access the Service.

You agree that you use the registry at your own risk and are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before hiring any service provider listed on this website.

4. User Conduct and Public Forum NACLA provides a public questions forum for educational and community purposes. When interacting with this forum, you agree not to:

  • Post spam, promotional material, or malicious links.

  • Post content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory.

  • Impersonate any person or entity.

NACLA reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove any content submitted to the public forum that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

5. Registry Membership Cleaning businesses applying for a listing on the NACLA registry must provide accurate, current, and complete information. NACLA reserves the right to refuse membership, suspend, or terminate any registry listing at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including a breach of the Terms or reports of poor business conduct.

6. Intellectual Property The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of NACLA and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Australia. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of NACLA.

7. Links to Other Web Sites Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by NACLA.

NACLA has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that NACLA shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

8. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

9. Changes We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
